The project is located within the Runway 17R-35L Complex and includes the rehabilitation of pavements for Runway 17R-35L, Parallel Taxiways L and M, Connector Taxiways A – M10, and Deice Pad D.
Included with the pavement rehabilitation on the pavements listed above, the flowing improvements will also be performed:
- Reconstruction of Taxiway M6 to current FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13A Change 1 standards
- Widening the taxiway safety areas on Taxiways L and M to Airplane Design Group (ADG) V criteria
- Spall repair
- Joint repair and rehabilitation of the entire complex
- Airfield Electrical improvements and modifications
Shrewsberry provided airfield engineering design services for the project. Design services included demolition plans, grading design, and construction plan development.
