In 2020, the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission began the first phase of the Taxiway Charlie Reconstruction Program. This program involves the removal of various existing taxiways and taxiway connectors to allow for the construction of a new parallel Taxiway C system. The first phase of the program involved the removal of a portion of Taxiway D & Taxiway B, as well as taxiway connectors Taxiway G and Taxiway P; and the construction of a segment of Taxiway C and taxiway connectors Taxiways C3, C4, F3, and F4.
Shrewsberry provided airfield engineering design services for airfield drainage and modeling, airfield lighting layout of edge and centerlines lights, and production of airfield demolition plans, airfield marking plans and details, and assisted in overall plan quality control reviews.
